Bar-B-Q Festival Scheduled for May 10 and 11, 2013
The next International Bar-B-Q Festival is scheduled for May 9 and 10, 2014. Though many of the events and performances that appear on our website will be brought back each year, please be advised that the dates and times will be subject to change. We look forward to seeing you for the fun, food and excitement that the festival has to offer. Anyone interested in participating in the festival should access the appropriate web page listed. Opportunities exist for: Arts & Crafts Exhibitors, Concessions and Business Park Vendors, Non-Profit Fund Raising and Entertainment Opportunities.

Every second weekend in May, Owensboro springs to life with the wonderful smells and sounds of the International Bar-B-Q Festival. Smoke from hickory-stoked fires blends with the aromas of sizzling chicken, bubbling burgoo and roasting mutton to complete the festival atmosphere.

This year's International Bar-B-Q Festival promises to be a fun-filled and exciting time for regulars and first-timers alike. The new Smothers Park area is open and adds a fun space to this downtown event. We've got plenty of events planned to make for a memorable Festival experience.
