Attention all artists and crafters! We would like to invite you to participate as an exhibitor in the International Bar-B-Q Festival. Our Owensboro riverfront arena sets the stage to showcase your talents and merchandise and attracts thousands of visitors looking for new and unique items.

Merchandise

Only items hand-crafted by exhibitors are allowed. Art must be the work of the exhibitor. Any exhibitor or artist found selling inappropriate items will be asked to leave the Festival and will forfeit their registration fee. Inappropriate items include, but are not limited to, flea market items, concessions or food, weapons and manufactured products. No solicitation outside of your assigned space is allowed.

Registration

Please submit information detailing your specific product(s), a photo of your presentation, space and electrical requirements and your contact information to the coordinator below by April 17, 2017.  If selected to participate, an application will be sent to you for completion and all fees are due with your returned application.

The registration fee must be paid in advance by money order or cashier’s check. No personal checks are accepted. No refunds are given after application and registration fee are received due to inclement weather.  You will be contacted by mid-April to confirm your selection.

Booth Space & Utility Fees

Standard booth space is 10X10 including tongue length.  All equipment must fit into your area including signage. Fee is $100 dollars for each 10X10 space requested. Utility fees are $25 for each 110 volt-20 amp max connection requested and are subject to availability.

Setup

All setup must be completed  Friday prior to 2pm. You must check in and display your exhibitor pass to confirm space allocated. Booths are assigned and numbered prior to your arrival. Promptly remove vehicles from the Festival area to eliminate congestion. There are no designated parking areas for exhibitors and supply vehicles are not allowed within the Festival perimeter.  There is a parking garage at Daviess and Veteran’s Blvd available as long as exhibitors understand they cannot leave the area until after 11p.m. each night when Festival closes. Exhibitors are not allowed to have golf carts, ATVs or similar vehicles in the festival area except for loading and unloading.

Booths Open to Public

Friday, May 12th, 2017 – 5pm – 10pm

Saturday, May 13th, 2017 – 10am – 10pm

Note:  You may close your booth earlier; however, you cannot bring a vehicle into the Festival perimeter until after 11pm.

Security

Vendors are responsible for providing overnight security. You are welcome to stay with your booth or transfer items to your vehicle. We are not responsible for damaged or stolen items.

Commission & Taxes

No commissions will be paid to the Festival. Exhibitors are responsible for collecting Kentucky State sales tax. The Kentucky Revenue Cabinet will receive a complete listing of participants.
